Schedule

Welcome Week

Newlands College students will be welcomed on campus with a week of orientation, fun, and community. Orientation day and welcome week begins in mid-August.

Weekly Schedule

Mondays 

  • 9 am - 12 pm SEU Coursework

Tuesdays

  • 9 am - 12 pm Practicum

  • 1 pm - 5 pm Practicum 

Wednesdays 

  • 9 am-12 pm Practicum*

  • 6 pm – 9 pm Student Services*

    *Additional hours required for Students, Worship, & Technical Arts practicums

Thursdays 

  • 9 am Prayer

  • 10 am Chapel

  • 11 am Student Life

Friday & Saturday  

  • Off (Unless required for special events.) 

Sundays 

  • 6 am – 7:30 am Student All Call *Varies Based on Practicum 

  • 9 am – 3 pm Sunday Services *Must Attend One 

The weekly schedule above is for traditional onsite students ages 18-25. The weekly schedule for non-traditional students ages 25+ and graduate students will vary based on their practicum. It will include at least one Wednesday night, Sunday morning, or special event each week.

Student Housing

At Home

Students living 45 minutes or closer to the campus can live at home while enrolled at Newlands College.

Host Home

Out of state and out of town students can apply for a host home. These are awarded on a case-by-case basis. In order to explore the possibility of a host home, reach out directly to our Site Director, Zeke Lee (zeke.lee@newlandschurch.com).
